With this release, from the Settings page, any member can choose from a few new privacy options for their profile:

* Everyone who visits the social network
* Only members of the social network
* Just your friends

Happy New Years everyone! I just wanted to drop a little update for you guys. Things have been a little slow around here because of the holidays and I'm sorry but things will be picking up. There have been some minor behind the scenes updates that makes things a bit easier at TSC (especially search) but most won't be noticable to members. We are starting a new promotion today. Any member who gets 5 or more people to join in any given week will be featured on the main page. So start inviting your friends and pick your best profile pic to display! Reply to this post once you do so I'll know.

So I needed to fix a few things with the photos and I've just gotten around to adding them back. The bulk uploader still has a few issues with the Flock browser but otherwise should work fine. If you come across any problems please let me know. Also you can now link your flickr account to your photos here.

First off I would like to welcome our inaugural members and hope they enjoy, what I hope, is a good experience for everyone. Things are going to start out a little rough at first but if you hang in there The Social Circle will be as fun as those other sites you visit obsessively.
